The next evening was 'Spook Night' at Mimi and Poppy's house. Mimi was a scarecrow of sorts and Poppy, a 1950's soda jerk. The mood was set with a shroud over the kitchen table light and the table set for cookie decorating.
Next was pumpkin painting. The meticulous skeleton hones his craft.

The soda jerk makes more than soda. Here is his concoction of swamp punch. In perfect homeschool fashion, he gave his first lesson. Dry ice 101, to a decently captive audience...well, considering his audience was 7.5 years old and down.

A little extra here. Have you seen Kids N' Pets? I love it. It takes up anything. Wine, blood, urine, vomit, poop..you name it. If you have children and pets...you must have this on hand. All natural enzymes, alcohol and coconut surfactants. If you don't have a bottle or two on hand, get one! Walk, don't run to your nearest Walmart or HEB, etc.! By the way,I did not need it that night.
