I wanted to blog about this subject to my mommy friends and then found this blog which just about says it for me! Is this blog hijacking? Well, she is a big encouragement for me and she has more children than I do so I love that I found this. She endorses the book I recommended to Cheryl via her blog yesterday. I began using the book about two or three weeks ago. When you get the book, Managers of Their Homes we can compare notes mamas! Here is a photo of my master worksheet (included in the schedule kit in the book) which is not even the final schedule yet at this point. Each color represents myself and each of the children. It is moveable with sticky tack for me to tweak it which I have been for two weeks. I even have T1 on there and I am NOT a baby scheduler type (or do not think of myself as one). If I get 'off' schedule (daily happening), then I just 'jump' back into to by referring to it to see what I should be doing. Get it? This is a great tool..not a master....I once thought the word 'schedule' was a dirty, dirty word. Try it and let me know what you think!
P.S. - I even have regular organizing/sewing room time on the schedule for mama. ;-)
I love the Preschooling site you linked to. I already found a few ideas that I am going to adopt. Thanks for the book recommendation again...gotta get it. Yesterday went really well and today is good so far too! We worked in our lapbooks, put away laundry, prepared dinner...all with no tears or meltdowns...that's a good day! =)
